It uses a range of activities including films and discussions about co-operatives around the world to showcase the work of different co-operatives as well as giving people the opportunity to reflect on how the work of the global movement can be linked to their own roles.

Co-operatives and sustainability

This workshop aims to enhance understanding of the role that co-operative enterprise plays in helping to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) around the world. This session will explore how, as an ethical organisation, the participant’s co-operative is aligned with the SDGs, as well as what else can be done.

Promoting climate action: How co-operatives can make a difference

The UK is now committed, in law, to become carbon neutral by 2050 and every organisation has a responsibility to transform its own culture. This aim of this workshop is to explore the links between climate action and participantsroles within their organisations.
