This course has been designed to respond to the interest in the role that co-operatives play around the globe, both historically and today.  This course will take you on a journey through the history and development of the global co-operative movement. From the beginnings of the modern co-operative movement in Rochdale in 1844, to establishement of their underlying set of values and principles.

Exploring International Co-operative Development     £24.00 (inc vat)

The purpose of the course is to enhance learners’ understanding of the role that co-operative enterprise has in international development, and to introduce learners to the different ways co-operatives work to address a range of challenges across both the global north and south, linking to the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals.
