This workshop aims to enhance understanding of the role that co-operative enterprise plays in helping to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) around the world. This session will explore how, as an ethical organisation, the participant’s co-operative is aligned with the SDGs, as well as what else can be done.

Course content

During this workshop, participants will:

• Explore what is meant by sustainability and sustainable development 
• Be introduced to the SDGs 
• Examine the relationship between co-ops and the SDGs 
• Investigate what their organisation is doing in terms of sustainability and how it is integrating the SDGs into its work 

Length of course

This is can be delivered as a half-day course, lasting three hours, or extended to a full-day course, lasting six hours
