Co-opted Trustee 

(Bringing financial experience)

As we approach the end of our centenary year, we are launching a new five-year strategy, taking us from 2020-2025.

We're looking for a Trustee with finance skills & experience, to be co-opted to our Board.

Why is the role of Trustee so important?

Trustees for the College provide us with vital skills, expertise, experience and guidance; essential to the effective leadership of a successful educational charity. They also help direct the strategy, oversee our finances, provide scrutiny balanced with support and ensure our charity operates legally, ethically and responsibly.

Following a Board Skills Audit, it was identified that the current Board of Trustees would be strengthened with a co-optee who has a financial management background and focus. Could you bring these skills to the
table?

Being a Trustee for the Co-operative College is a voluntary role (travel expenses are covered) and is therefore a great way to expand your professional portfolio while ‘giving back’. If you have a passion for education, charitable work and experience in financial management, we want to hear from you!
