A full-day workshop which collectively explores strategies for working together collaboratively as a team. The co-operative values and principles are embedded throughout the course to enable participants to consider how they might apply them to their own co-operative working practices.

Who is it for?

This workshop is for anyone who:

  • Would like to increase their understanding of effective collaboration and how to achieve it within their organisation
  • Wants to implement values-based principles of effective team working in their own working practices
  • Is keen to develop their questioning and active-listening skills

What will I learn?

Participants will examine what effective communication is, and how it impacts on working relationships before considering how questioning and active listening can contribute towards collaborative working practices.

The workshop also explores what makes teams effective, as well as what makes them ineffective, and how values-based principles can support collaborative working. Participants will also explore strategies for practising values-led conflict management.

How will participants learn?

This action-focused workshop will incorporate activities designed to encourage both collaborative reflection and application of learning.
