Centenary Conference and Gala Dinner

Co-operative College 100 years: And now the future

3 Days | 5 Plenaries | 7 Keynotes | 12 Workshops | 1 book launch

2019 is a hugely exciting year for us as we celebrate our 100th birthday. We've planned a whole year of events, all culminating in our Centenary Conference and Gala Dinner, taking place in Rochdale, the birthplace of modern co-operation, from the 26 - 28 November.

Founded through a resolution at Co-op Congress, over the last 100 years we’ve grown from a small room at Holyoake House to an educational charity delivering training across the globe.

We know that in today’s uncertain world, co-operation is needed more than ever. From shining the spotlight back on adult education, to developing a Co-operative University open to all, not just a select few, the need to think differently hasn’t gone away. Societies problems won’t be solved by same old, same old.

Our centenary conference will explore how co-operative education can challenge inequalities, empower individuals and pose radical solutions.

We are the Educators. Join us this November and together we’ll build a fairer world.
