This month sees our Youth Co-operative Action project expand to even more communities across the UK and we're urging young people aged 14-19 to take part and make a difference in their local area.

Our groundbreaking programme, supported by the Co-operative Foundation and the#iwill Fund, focuses on youth activism, inspiring a new generation of young people to use co-operative values and principles to make a change where they live.

Delivered in towns and cities across England, each cohort is encouraged to think differently to solve problems in their community and understand the real power of their voice. Empowered with the skills, knowledge and platform to tell their story, they work together to inspire real, meaningful change.

Skills and opportunities

Through taking part in the scheme, young people will learn new skills, meet new people and have fun. Focused on team work and problem solving, all those taking part will gain the confidence to tackle the issues that matter to them, both now and in the future.
