We're delighted to announce that we've been selected for the Discovery phase of the Catalyst and The National Lottery Community Fund COVID-19 Digital Response fund.

This 'Discovery phase' will allow us to undertake targeted research with many of the young people who attend our projects about their needs and how we can help. The initial award sees us receive a grant of five thousand pounds, whilst we will also benefit from the support of an experienced digital partner who will help bring our ideas to life.

The impact

The funding will mean we can focus on developing new digital spaces and sessions for our young people, building on some of the successful work that we've done since Covid-19 struck earlier this year. This includes our Online Youth Series which attracted participants from across the UK and the effective move of our Youth Co-operative Action and Co-operative (ad)Venture projects to totally online delivery.

We will also be disseminating the learning and development from this initial work through our agreed 10-organisation network, benefitting our partners and their wider audiences. Following the completion of this initial 'discovery stage' we'll then have the opportunity to bid for further development funding, expanding the impact and benefits to a wider audience.
