Course content

During this workshop, participants will:

  • Describe how values and principles define co-operative identity and consider why they are important 
  • Reflect on how organisations manifest co-operative values and principles in their governance and/or working practices 
  • Compare how values and principles are manifested by different types of co-operatives in different ways  
  • Consider the impact of co-operative values and principles, as well as their personal values, on their work  
  • Identify steps they can take to develop and enhance the practical application of the co-operative values and principles 

Length of course

This is a half-day course, lasting three hours.
