Who is it for?

Anyone who is part of, or interested in, worker co-ops. It will be useful for:

  • If you have new staff joining your worker co-op
  • If you have existing members who could do with a refresher or want to find out about the wider worker co-op sector

What will participants learn?

  • What a co-op is at a deeper level, fleshed out with examples and case studies of specific worker co-ops and the wider co-op sector
  • Where where co-ops came from, their history and context from 19th, 20th and 21st Centuries
  • Understand more about the scale and diversity of co-op economy, learn some key facts
  • Find out what is going on in the modern worker co-op movement and how to get involved

How will participants learn?

During the workshop they’ll learn by taking part in:

  • Whole and sub-group discussion with practical activities
  • Q&A sessions
  • Self-reflection activities to think about how they’ll apply what they’ve learned to your worker co-op
