We're excited to welcome Sara Vicari, Co-founder of aroundtheworld.coop, to our Centenary Conference. She will deliver a workshop on day one of our Centenary Conference focused on her travels throughout 2019 and the story behind her fascinating video documentary that she has made about co-operatives alongside her colleague Andrea Mancori.

About Sara

Sara Vicari, PhD, is a participatory action researcher, passionate about cooperatives and their role in sustainable human development.

Co-founder of aroundtheworld.coop, she has been travelling around the world for the whole of 2019, together with Andrea Mancori, a talented video-maker, documenting cooperatives.

Sara also worked with FAO, UK Co-operative College and Legacoop, and is currently a post-doc research fellow at Roma Tre University. Sara has also written a novel - Tana Libera Tutte! (in Italian) just published by Doithuman
