Webinar - Co-operatives and Sustainable Development Goals The College has a strong reputation working both in the UK and the Global South. With a track record stretching over a 100 years and guided by the seven international co‑operative principles, the co‑operative model is widely acknowledged as a tool for sustainable development (i.e. International Labour Organization’s Recommendation 193). Aligned to the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) our co-operative education and training projects aim to improve the social and economic livelihoods of individuals and their communities nationally and internationally and inspire people to work together to build a fairer world. This webinar offers an overview of the SDGs within the co-operative context and explores how the College’s work both in the UK and internationally works across a number of these Global Goals.
