Climate change is set to dominate the agenda over the coming weeks as world leaders descend on Glasgow for COP26.

Our Tackling Climate Change Together webinar is your chance to hear from expert researchers within the co-op movement on the practical steps you and your organisation can take to reduce your impact on the planet.

About the Webinar

Chaired by our CEO and Principal Neil Calvert, the interactive session will feature two of the editors of a key co-ops and climate change report that was released last month.

The report, published by the International Co-operative Alliance, features eight case studies, a number of which will be covered in detail during the webinar itself.

You will learn:

  • More about co-operatives and the link to sustainable development goals, including how and why co-operatives can be used as a force for change within communities
  • Why co-operatives are hardwired to care about their community and the wider environment, right down to the values and principles
  • What influence co-operatives could and should have on the future direction of climate change, and crucially, how to engage future generations on an issue that they stand to be significantly impacted by

Run as a pay as you feel session, with our members joining for free, there'll be an opportunity to donate at the end of the webinar.
