Life as a young leader session artwork

The session

Trying to figure out what's next? Struggling with confidence and self image? Still can’t shake the put down from that friend, family member or teacher years go?

Life as a young person is full of questions, change and uncertainty, and never more so than now! Join the session to hear about Olivia’s journey from teen to twenties and how to turn struggle into success. Managing perspective, goals and challenges all while learning who we are is no easy feat. Let's help each other get there!

About the speaker

Olivia Lee headshot

Olivia Lee is a project manager, creative and activist from Manchester. At 20 years old Olivia has established herself as a young leader through her work with a variety of organisations and projects in the local community.

Olivia joined the Contact Theatre’s Agency project after leaving college and was promoted from project assistant to project coordinator, now running the project.

She is also the project manager at Young Manchester and has designed and implemented a Youth Voice Programme within the organisation, putting young people at the heart of Young Manchester.

Aside from work, Olivia loves to create. From dance and DJing, to music production, writing and photography, Olivia has time for all things creative! The love of creativity and expression is ever present in her life and work, and serves to further the positive impact she has on the young people she works with.
