  • Describe how to establish a culture that builds a shared sense of purpose with the team
  • Create a personal development plan with specific objectives that will enable you to incorporate the training from the workshop into your everyday role 

Effective Communication 

24th April 2019

  • Know how to effectively use different forms of communication in your role
  • Be able to gather and select data 
  • Be able to interpret data and information related to your work activity 
  • Understand how to use effective communication to help achieve the objectives of your organisation
  • Review how effective your organisations communication has been and develop an action plan on how to improve

Manage Resources

30th April 2019

  • Identify the range of resources you have and those that you need in order to achieve the objectives of your organisation
  • Describe how you select and use resources to meet planned expectations
  • Explain how to monitor and control resources in your organisation and understand the need for change
  • Create a plan to take away with you that details how you will manage resources effectively going forward

  • Have reflected on your performance, identified objectives to improve further and thought about what needs to be done in order to achieve them
  • Understand how to plan and manage your workload effectively in order to achieve your goals

  • Explain how stakeholders differ in a co-op to other types of organisation
  • Identify the stakeholders in your organisation and plan to meet their needs
  • Describe how review your activities in order to continually meet stakeholder needs
  • Reflect upon the quality standards that exist in your organisation and identify improvements that could be made
  • Understand how to notify stakeholders if there is a need to change system, procedures or practice

Establish Co-operative Culture 

9th July 2019

  • Understand the concept of culture within an organisation 
  • Explain the impact of values on individual and organisational performance 
  • Describe a range of positive personal behaviours that work well to support co‑operative culture and which of these behaviours are relevant to your role and how you’ll employ them
  • Describe negative behaviours which can threaten co-operative culture and provide practical solutions to reducing the impact of negative behaviour 
  • Demonstrate constructive challenge techniques to support the introduction of an appropriate culture in your co-op
