Whether you are fighting fit or running from exercise we all need to be active, especially during lockdown.

Join guest host and fitness coach Obinna Wray from MCRactive and Manchester city football club as we explore the significance of staying physically healthy. As well as some fun games, join us for beginner to advanced fitness advice and exercises to do at home. In addition to this we will discuss the importance of a healthy body and mind, how much exercise can influence and improve mood and mental capacity.

About the guest host

Obinna Wray started his professional career as a sports coach, having studied sports science and coaching, before expanding into sports development alongside fitness instruction. More recently he has moved into the health and well-being team within MCRactive where he is the widening participation lead. This work consists of working with underrepresented groups within the community to help increase physical activity and improve health and well-being.

In addition to this, Obinna also works for Manchester City Football Club as a football coach, where he gets to pass on his lifelong love of football by delivering football sessions to young people within the community. Both avid sportsman and social butterfly Obinna is also fond of walking on his hands should the occasion, or need to show off, arise!
