This workshop is for you if you… are a member or colleague of a co-operative or similar organisation are interested in how your organisation can make a positive impact on the communities it works with are a co-operative member with responsibility for promoting your co-operative/co-operatives generally want to learn more about organisational strategies for CSR and how they are implemented wish to know more about how CSR is reported by organisations, in particular co-operatives are interested in the link between CSR and SDGs What will I learn? By the end of this workshop you will be able to… describe the principles of an organisational CSR strategy Outline the UN SDGs and the link with CSR strategy in co-operatives and similar organisations detail the current CSR strategy of your organisation explain the impact of an organisational CSR strategy on organisational performance explain the responsibilities of different stakeholders in your organisation with regard to the CSR plan describe how organisations implement, evaluate and report on organisational CSR strategy How will I learn? In this workshop you will take part in tutor led discussions, group activity and review of case studies in order to learn identify best practice and relate this to your own organisation. You may wish to complete this workshop as part of a Chartered Management Institute (CMI) qualification. For this you will be required to complete a piece of assessed work after the workshop.
