Becoming an Education Co‑operative We are working closely with Co-operatives UK and the Hive to support people and groups wishing to form education and research co-operatives. How we can help With 100 years experience of delivering co-operative education, we'd like to think we know a thing or two about running an education co-operative. Many of our staff are experts in their field and would love to share their knowledge with you. Why now? With the development of a Co-operative University now firmly on the horizon, and in light of the challenges facing community, further, higher and adult education, we feel there's never been a better time to think about starting an education co-operative! What's so great about co-operatives? We think co-operative working can answer a number of the challenges facing society today. For example, our recent report, titled 'Working Together - Trade union and co-operative innovators for precarious workers' explores how the precarity increasingly associated with working in education can be addressed through the co-operative or union co-operative model. Education Co-operatives can deliver everything from community, non accredited workshops, through to Postgraduate Degrees. The greatest value lies in the mutual benefits of working democratically in solidarity and co-operation. How can I get in touch? We would be delighted to talk to you about this or any other aspect of becoming an education co-operative. You can get in touch with our team directly via the button below. Contact us
