Student sponsors

We believe it is vital for a Co-operative University to reach out to all. It's critical that we engage and support mature and part time students whose economic or other circumstances might be a barrier to their participation. We work with students from low income groups and across deprived areas, whilst also reaching out to those with mental health issues and across a range of learning abilities.

Our support package recognises this and will provide our students with a dividend towards their expenses each year and financial support towards attending residentials. We can, however,  only play a part in breaking down the barriers to accessing education. That is why we would urge all co-operatives to consider how they can contribute to the university and in particular consider meeting the 5th Co-operative principle by sponsoring students to learn with us.

Please contact us on the details below if you are interested in providing a great opportunity to your employees, members or anyone from your local community.

Higher Education Providers

We are currently working with a number of higher education co-operatives but we welcome help to grow the reach of co-operative education, to widen the subject base and to reach a greater variety and diversity of students. Great things happen when people co-operate and we believe we can learn from each other and be stronger together.  Please contact us on the details below.

We'll advertise all our job opportunities over on our careers page, so make sure you keep checking back. They'll also be posted in our newsletter too.  We are also interested to hear from potential tutors who may want to work for us on an associate (self-employed) basis from time to time.
