Masterclass in detail

This course will run on Monday 25 November 2019 at ICMIF’s historic home on the outskirts of Manchester, UK. Led by specialists in leadership and management training including our CEO Simon Parkinson and Mike Ashurst, Vice President, ICMIF, this one day certified masterclass brings together international leaders from credit unions, co-operatives and mutual insurers and covers a number of different areas including:

• How do Co-operative leaders think globally and act locally?
• What values make a cooperative leader and why? 
• How to adopt a values-led, adaptive and ethical leadership approach.

Limited to just twenty delegates, the delivery will be focused on interactive breakout sessions, maximising the opportunity for networking and the sharing of best practice examples. Real life case studies will also form the basis of all learning materials, providing tangible examples that all delegates will be able to put into practice.

About the Conference

As the show piece event of our 100th birthday celebrations, our Centenary Conference and Gala Dinner will explore how co-operative education can challenge inequalities, empower individuals and pose radical solutions to some of society’s biggest challenges.

The packed programme will see a whole host of plenary sessions, keynote addresses and workshops, all covering a range of different topics including the future of work, adult education and how to build a co-operative economy that works for everyone.

A week long celebration
