Last month we partnered with the International Co-operative Alliance for two unique online events to mark the 25th anniversary of the ICA Statement of Co-operative Identity.

Delivered under the banner of Cooperative Conversations, the initial two part series featured live discussion with co-operators from across the globe. If you didn't get chance to join us then the good news us the videos from both sessions are now available.

The first conversation, titled Looking Back for a Stronger, Brighter Future, explored how the seven co-operative principles came to be and the significance of the global context at the time. It also examined the impact it had on the co-operative movement then, and crucially how it will shape the future.

The Impact of the Co-operative Identity on Regulation

The second conversation, titled “Cooperative Identity regulated in International and National Lawexamined the impact of the co-operative identity statement on co-operative regulation at national and international level.

Attendees learnt how the co-operative identity, values and principles remain more relevant today than ever. You can catch up on all the action via the video below.
