Last month we partnered with the International Co-operative Alliance for two unique online events to mark the 25th anniversary of the ICA Statement of Co-operative Identity.

Delivered under the banner of Cooperative Conversations, the initial two part series featured live discussion with co-operators from across the globe. If you didn't get chance to join us then the good news us the videos from both sessions are now available.

Looking Back for a Stronger, Brighter Future

The first conversation, titled Looking Back for a Stronger, Brighter Future, explored how the seven co-operative principles came to be and the significance of the global context at the time. It also examined the impact it had on the co-operative movement then, and crucially how it will shape the future.

The Impact of the Co-operative Identity on Regulation

Tuesday 22 September 1pm - 3pm (CEST)

The second conversation, titled “Cooperative Identity regulated in International and National Law” examined the impact of the co-operative identity statement on co-operative regulation at national and international level.

Attendees learnt how the co-operative identity, values and principles remain more relevant today than ever. You can catch up on all the action via the video below.
