Taking place at The Rochdale Pioneers Museum on January 24th, Song lines on the road – Life lines on the move! is part of a series of six workshops that brings together two strands of ‘Connected Communities’ research in former industrial communities in Lancashire, South Yorkshire and County Durham, and in the south Wales ex-mining valleys.

Each workshop involves a celebratory exchange of short films made in these communities and a fun and fascinating demonstration of the “Community Tarot” method of working with our collective imagination to re-think futures in communities that have lost their traditional industries.

If you're interested in social action or just intrigued to see how the tarot card technique can be used to explore the future of communities, then this workshop is perfect for you. You don't need any previous knowledge or experience, just a willingness to get involved and think how communities can be changed for the better.

The event is free and starts at 12:30pm, with a free buffet lunch provided. We're expecting the event to be very popular, so to help us with numbers, please register for your free ticket below.

We look forward to seeing you there!
