Coaching is a popular approach to employee development, based on a relationship between two people: the coach and the individual. This course is for anyone who wants to support colleagues to develop their skills or confidence in the workplace.  

What will I learn?

In this unit you’ll explore how the coaching process can improve the performance of you and your colleagues.

On completing the course you’ll be able to:

  • Explain how coaching supports performance and maximises potential
  • Know when to have coaching conversations with staff
  • Ask coaching questions to help staff take responsibility for their actions and solve problems within the workplace more easily
  • Use coaching skills in everyday conversations at work
  • Plan and prepare for delivering coaching success

Written notice of cancellations up to 21 days before an event will incur a 25% administration fee. After this time period, a 100% cancellation charge will apply. Substitutions (i.e. name changes) for the event booked can be made free of charge.
