Join us for a free webinar on 4th July, inspired by the theme of this years International Day of Co-operatives, Co-operatives for Climate Action

Climate change protest sign - planet over profit

We're committed to offering climate education to co-operatives, as demonstrated by the development of our Essential Climate Change workshop that was added to our programme earlier this year and can be run for organisations of any size.

A challenge we all face

The climate crisis is one of the greatest challenges we all face today, and co-operatives can play a huge role in tackling climate change head on.

As ethical businesses built on a shared set of values and principles, co-operatives are perfectly placed to lead the way and highlight the difference that can be made if we all alter our behaviour.

The webinar

During the webinar, you will be given a chance to explore the reasons why co-operatives should engage in climate education and how taking climate action can benefit businesses. There'll also be a Q&A session at the end, offering you the opportunity to further develop your knowledge and understanding on this crucial topic.

The webinar will be led by Ruth Hayward, an environmental educator, researcher and organiser who has co-founded and developed a number of environmental initiatives in the North East

To help us with anticipated numbers, we're asking everyone to book a free ticket below. You'll then receive an email with further instructions on how to join the webinar.
