Rochdale Pioneers Museum family friendly events

Ellie from Healy Primary School shows she’s bee-n busy.The recently-refurbished Rochdale Pioneers Museum, birthplace of the modern-day co-operative movement, is running a number of family-friendly activities between February and May.

Find out why bees are a symbol of the co-operative movement and learn about bee behaviour at a Busy Bee fun day on Wednesday 20 and Friday 22 February (11am-4pm, drop-in).

Learn about Fairtrade at a Fairtrade fun day on Saturday 2 March (11am-4pm, drop-in).

Find out more about and make your own co-operative radio at a Defiant Radios Fun Day on Wednesday 10th April (11am-4pm, drop-in).

Take part in nocturnal activities for Museums at Night on Thursday 16-Friday 18 May and pose as a Pioneer and have your photograph taken wearing Victorian costume during the Pioneer Pictures activity (Wednesday 29 May, 11am-4pm).
