Work Placement Opportunities

The Rochdale Pioneers Museum will be closed until the beginning of 2012, however, during this period, there will be a great deal of activity on the development of learning resources using Museum artefacts.

Placement students work closely with museum staff, gaining hands-on experience working with artefact collections and interpretation. Wherever possible, projects are tailored to the student’s particular area of interest. As part of the Co-operative College, an organisation dedicated to adult and lifelong learning programmes, the Rochdale Pioneers Museum is an ideal environment for students to develop their skills. Placements are available throughout the year, by arrangement.
