Emma Willder, FCMA
Vice Principal – Finance & Resources
Emma joined the College in 2003 as Head of Management Services, having previously worked in finance teams in a variety of industries from wholesale to catering. After graduating from Salford University, she went onto study for her professional accountancy qualifications with the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA), completing these in 2001. She became an associate of CIMA in 2005 and achieved fellowship status in 2009. Emma also sits on CIMA’s Research Advisory Panel and is a member of the WEA Audit Committee.
Emma has overall responsibility for the College’s financial and risk management systems, human resources and quality systems. Alongside this, Emma leads both the IiP and Quality systems working groups.
Emma has a young family and in her spare time is a Community Governor at her local primary school as well as Chairing its finance committee.
