An article in the Guardian introduces the ideas and background behind the newly founded Rochdale ‘Soup’, a social, networking and crowdfunding gathering which awards funds to initiatives ‘pitched’ to improve the community.
The first Rochdale ‘Soup’ took place at the Pioneers Museum on Tuesday 31 May. The Reverend Angela Bryan won £215 for Kirky Kitchen, a community space for Kikholt, Rochdale which will go towards a soft play area.
