Wanted: co-operatives to help pilot new co-operative learning framework of progression

Breaking news! The Co-operative Learning and Development Team at the Co-operative College has been undertaking a major review of its programmes and a new co-operative learning framework of progression is being developed which will provide opportunities for employees and elected members to achieve their potential through new, ‘bite sized’, externally-accredited qualifications delivered and quality assured by the College.

Additionally, membership engagement programmes have been developed for societies and smaller co-operatives seeking to provide training and development for their ‘ordinary’ members with a view to getting them more actively involved with their co-operative.

The development of the framework is running alongside a consultative process which invites existing and potential co-operatives to identify their learning needs and let us know how we can help them ‘grow’ their business and their membership.

If you are a co-operative and interested in contributing to the development and ‘piloting’ of our new co-operative learning framework of progression, please get in touch by emailing Janet Simms, Head of Co-operative Learning and Development, at janet@co-op.ac.uk.
