Co-operative Academy drama tour: There’s a Leak!
The Kidbrooke Theatre Company at Corelli College, a co-operative Academy in London, will be touring the comedy There’s a Leak! around Co-operative Community street parties in the south of England, as well as Hunterhouse College, a co-operative school in Belfast.
There’s a Leak! is a dark comedy by Ben Hales about a young girl and her cat, who discover a small leak of air being sucked down into a hole in the pavement. Elsa tries to alert members of the local community to the problem, all of whom have an opinion on the leak but no interest in fixing it. In fact, unwittingly, some of these people actually make the hole bigger and gradually the leak starts to get worse.
There’s a Leak! has previously been performed at Goldsmiths College, Greenwich Theatre and Co-operative schools in the London, Kent and Essex.
