College Principal addresses housing co-operatives conference in Australia
Mervyn Wilson, Principal and Chief Executive of the Co-operative College, addressed delegates at the 2012 National Housing Co-operatives Conference at the start of March.
The conference was organised by Common Equity Housing Limited, South East Housing Co-operative Limited and bankmecu, Australia’s first member-owned bank, and attended by hundreds of delegates including members of housing co-operatives, housing service professionals, building industry professionals and academics.
The event celebrated the diversity of housing co-operatives in Australia and their potential to create opportunities and build communities, tying in with 2012 International Year of Co-operatives.
