Whole Education conference
The Co
-operative College is a partner organisation of Whole Education, a collaboration between leading organisations in education that share a common set of beliefs about education and actively support schools, colleges and youth organisations in helping to provide young people with a ‘whole education’ across the country.
The second annual Whole Education conference takes place on 6 December at Kings Place, London. The conference will ask ‘Are we preparing young people for life and work in the twenty first century?’ through a programme of speakers, breakout sessions and discussions.
Keynotes will come from Professor Keri Facer (Manchester Metropolitan University), Kristiina Kumpulainen (Finnish National Board of Education), Caroline Waters (BT) and Larry Rosenstock (High Tech High, San Diego), addressing:
Breakout streams include Transforming Education Systems; Curriculum and Assessment; Schools and Communities; and Leadership, Pedagogy and CPD. Breakouts will be chaired with contributions from schools and other experts followed by Q&A and discussion.
